"alis grave nil" -latin for "nothing is heavy to those who have wings"
not only did i get this tattoo in remembrance of my dad, who died when i was 7, but i got it for me. for what i believe. i don't feel like wings are worn only by the deceased, but by those who are living life for themselves and letting experiences carry them to new points. nothing is heavy or weighs on them; the small petty things in life have no effect on their outlook, and rather than damper their journey, increase their optimism and drive for life.
